Salvation Army - Christmas present appeal

Having done Secret Santa at work for many years, the staff at BSN felt very passionately that we should do something different this year, and try to help families in Oldbury who may not be able to afford Christmas presents this year. Therefore, all week staff have been bringing in presents in order to donate to the local Salvation Army as part of their Christmas Present Appeal.

The Salvation Army provides new presents to children aged 0-16 years who otherwise wouldn’t receive anything as they believe very strongly that each child deserves a present at Christmas and over the years have provided presents to millions of children and young people across the UK.

When Jess and Phil dropped off the presents collected, Mike Wardley from the Oldbury Salvation Army Church kindly showed them round the centre and explained some of the other fantastic work they do within the local community such as supporting refugees and helping job seekers to get a job and stay in work. BSN have been very pleased to support this Christmas present appeal and look forward to finding other opportunities to support the great work they do in Oldbury.
