Softer Skills Training

BSN have recently invested in softer skills training, working with the Tess Group https://tessgroup.co.uk/ on this training. It is part of the BSN values that we invest in our team's development both with technical knowledge and softer skills so that we have an agile and effective team that are able to service clients to a high standard.

Prior to the training everyone completed a Colour-me profiling questionnaire and were presented with their report at the first workshop.

Colour-me profiling reports bring immediate and ongoing self-awareness to people, teams, leaders and organisations. They have been designed to bring value to staff by helping them develop more effective team dynamics, grow in behavioural intelligence and become more productive in their roles.  The reports are an insightful tool for self-development which reveal your unique behavioural profile and use reflective questions to coach you into making meaningful changes in your working or personal life. The report gives a snap-shot of your current preferences, both strengths and areas for development and how this may be impacting others around you.  The reports can be embedded into any self-development program such as leadership, management training and coaching.

The first workshop focused on communication and the second on coaching.  Both workshops were fun, interactive and informative which enabled everyone to embrace and understand the topics.  The first workshop taught everyone how different communication styles are suited to different people and how effective it can be to understand who you are communicating with and adapt accordingly.  The second workshop enabled us to understand the different learning styles people have – visual, kinaesthetic, or auditory and how to coach the different styles effectively.

The next workshop is being held in January 2023.
