Welcome to BSN - a little insight into what we're like..............

As BSN enters into its 30th anniversary, let’s give you an insight into the lifestyle and culture at BSN beyond the perceptions of the accounting profession. I’m talking about the work-life balance, our willingness to adapt and provide innovative solutions, as well as our commitment to learning and development; all of which reflect our fundamental mission and engraved core values.

We understand that a culture of flexibility is vital to the work-life quality for our team. Rest and recuperation are necessary to recharge ourselves so that we can be efficient and perform our best at work - this is supported by our holiday system, core working hours, and working from home policy.

At BSN, we have flexible contracts for our part-time workers to suit their needs - just take a look at how one of our team manages it (https://www.bsnassociates.com/bsn-news/life-as-a-working-mum-see-how-one-of-our-team-does-it).

We encourage our people to take breaks from their monitors, whether it is to leave the premises for some fresh air or fulfil their religious beliefs such as allowing time for prayers. We want to provide a comfortable and enjoyable working environment for everyone and are always open to consider ways in which to support the health and mental wellbeing of our team.

This year, we have introduced lunch-time activities to uplift morale and reduce stress levels which links to increases in productivity, creativity, and helps us process and retain information better. We are currently in the process of a friendly but competitive table tennis tournament and we shall see who will come out on top.

Our team continues to work hard to make an impact that matters for our clients and communities by offering bespoke services across 55 countries worldwide. We keep up-to-date with society’s most pressing issues to support the financial and strategic aspects of businesses. Likewise, we value the importance of real-time feedback and continually provide a wide variety of training to remain relevant and relatable.

As part of CPD requirements, all staff undertook a regulatory course involving GDPR, Money Laundering, Criminal Finances Act, Ethics and more. More recently, we offered advanced Sage, Xero and Excel training to all our employees to explore ways to streamline our services while aiding the professional development of our team. We are also currently supporting some of younger BSN team in pursuing their professional studies in AAT, ACA and ACCA while using platinum-approved training provider Kaplan to give them the best chance in achieving their qualifications.

Since its establishment in 1992, BSN has built a strong foundation to prosper and reach higher levels. Our core values remain the same as we continue to serve our clients and communities in the best way possible through the services we provide.

Our Balanced, Sustainable and Nurturing approach is at the heart of our culture and allows all affiliates to reach their potential. We look forward to a promising future with you every step of the way.
